“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Mandela

C.J. was the true definition of a student athlete. He excelled academically and athletically, earning a full scholarship to play football at Clemson University. He continued to excel at Clemson, both on and off the field, contributing to the 2016 National Championship team and receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 2018.

Because of the value he placed on education and his role as a student-athlete, The C.J. Fuller Memorial scholarship seeks to assist college bound student-athletes by giving them financial assistance in the form of a book scholarship. The scholarship committee hopes to select recipients who can embody the drive, determination, athletic prowess, and willingness to help others that C.J. possessed.
